So I have a problem in my studio of keeping things around even if I can't fathom ever using them again. This has been true of the 40 yards of leftover white linen fabric I have from my undergrad classes. It has sat in the corner taking up a lot of space and is ultimately driving me crazy. I have been racking my brain trying to figure out how to organize it neatly but its just too cumbersome and awkward so it has stayed in the corner... Until now. The other day I was browsing through some home decor websites shopping for jute rugs. I noticed that a lot of the chunkier ones reminded me of some knitting I had done for one of my classes in my first year of college. Thats when I knew that the fabric in the corner that had been haunting me would finally have a purpose. Now I have started a project that I fear will almost never get finished but at least I have a plan.... More to come on the finished piece!
