Craving Coffe Table Books

One of my new obsessions is to collect coffee table books. Nothing can rival a beautifully crafted book. Especially not one filled with fashion and design. With all of the multimedia reading devices like iPads, Kindles, and Nooks (oh my!) its nice to crack open the glossy pages of a hardback coffee table book. Plus they don't look too bad in stacks on a shelf or... you guessed it, a coffee table. Here are some of my favorites:

In Vogue, published by Rizzoli, is a must have for anyone who has an inkling of an interest in fashion. Its a classic. Rizzoli, in my opinion, makes the most beautiful books so you can't really go wrong with anything they publish.

This is another one of my favorite books. Fabric design idol. It is a Finnish company started around 1950. They are known for their graphic prints and bold use of color.

Looking for bright color inspiration? Look no further than this book. The hot pinks, reds, and oranges are enough to make you want to book a trip to India.

Of course we all know Alexander McQueen for his bold fashion statements but seeing them all together in this book makes you really appreciate his genius. Another great one for inspiration!
